Margaritas is a family owned restaurant and bar nestled in the junction at the foot of Mt Ruapehu in a popular ski resort named "Turoa ski field".Margaritas or "margies" as people have come to know it over the years is well known for its friendly family environment and great Mexican and not so Mexican food.The antique like decorative walls and life size cowboys and Indians gives margaritas its own unique quality.
The large open fire place situated in the middle of the dinning area is always relaxing after the long cold days up the mountain,or those lazy days when it snows.The family restaurant then transforms at night where the d.j creates a dance club atmosphere,and for those who aren't good dancers the pool tables and big screen T.V which plays the latest snowboarding and skiing videos/dvd's makes for a good night.
